I will assess them to see where they fall academically and will differentiate my instruction to meet the specific needs of your child. This is the most efficient way to teach a concept to diverse learners, who each bring with them unique talents and needs. Furthermore, students learn more when the material that is being taught is engaging and relevant, however students don’t always find the same methods of instruction equally as engaging or relevant. So Cookie-cutter instruction cannot address the diverse needs of our students. My method is to instruct your child in his or her preferred learning style and address any skills deficits they may have.
